Sadly from Monday 15/06/2020 we have, of necessity, needed to transfer our night time emergency services to Worthing Emergency Vets based at Grove Lodge Veterinary Hospital in Worthing BN14 9DL
These will be temporary measures in the short term but have become necessary due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on our staff resources. We believe that this will enable our Vets and Nurses to continue to provide the quality care that you have become accustomed to during the day time opening hours. All our hospitalised in patients will still be attended to overnight by the current staff.
One advantage of this decision and in line with the easing of restrictions across the UK, our governing body has allowed us to start the transition towards providing as full a range of veterinary services as possible within the safety confines of the social distancing rules.
In order to achieve the necessary safety for both staff and clients we have risk assessed our working practices in line with the 2m social distancing measures. Unfortunately due to the size of our premises, unlike many retail outlets, it is currently still not deemed possible to maintain the necessary distancing rules within the consulting rooms or waiting areas. We are working hard to address this and would hope to open up the surgery and allow limited access to reception in the very near future
We would therefore ask that you contact the surgery in advance of your visit to discuss your needs with Fliss, Kate or Heather at reception who will happily arrange your appointment or your “call and collect” medicines food and prescriptions and take electronic payments over the phone.
We are striving to make your visit to the surgery as safe and convenient as possible but please bear with us during these difficult times so that we will still be here to offer you our dedicated services once we reach “The New Normal”
Thank you so much for your co-operation and continue to stay safe.
Best Wishes, Nicholas
Outstanding vets. My dog (Ziggi) has had a multitude of health issues since a puppy and I have had to frequently move to different parts of the country over her lifetime. This means I have dealt with my fair share of vets, some amazing and some not so great. Petcare vets are among the best. They are professional, knowledgeable and caring. They listen to your concerns and perform thorough examinations. All the options are clearly explained. Couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you and keep up the awesome work.
Good care for pets by vet Nick Smith and his team. Professional and caring.
Very caring and friendly.
Managed to get my pet looked at same day excellent vets.
My cat went missing and I phoned around everywhere to see if she had been found. The lady I spoke to at this vets was very helpful and gave me lots of people to ring and spent time with me to try and ease my mind. Thankfully she was found locked in my neighbours garage. I just want to say a huge thank you for your support even though I am not a customer of yours.
Brilliant vets, so helpful and accommodating. We feel lucky to have found them and cannot recommend them enough.
We have been visiting this vet for the last ten years and never received anything but kindness and attention. Our elderly Brittany contracted an eye infection and despite all our panic Nick Smith and his excellent team saw us through some of the worst days of pet ownership. Purdey is now much better and although she has lost the sight in her right eye she is as mischievous as ever.
Brilliant care of our pet and would happily recommend to all.
Felt confident that my pet would be looked after.
